Chewing Gum can be beneficial!

Sugar free gum when chewed for 20 minutes after a meal cannot replace brushing and flossing. It  can increase your saliva flow which in turn provides more calcium and phosphate to help strengthen your enamel, it also helps to remove food debris, and neutralize food acids which are on your teeth after eating.
Not only does this decrease your chance of decay it also can save a lot of money. If everyone that currently chews sugar free gum added one piece a day to their regimen, they could save $4.1 billion worldwide.
